Renin (REN)
RENin is a proteolytic enzyme. An important component of the RENin-angiotensin system or RENin-angiotensin-aldosterone system. It is converted from RENin, with a molecular weight of about 42,000, and its genes consist of nine introns and one exon. Nine introns, about 12000 base pairs, 10 exons can transcription 1500 nucleic acid of messenger RNA (mRNA), RENin before mRNA can be translated into the original, before the final modification into RENin, stored in the secretory granules, through cell crack released into the bloodstream. RENin itself has no direct physiological effect on the cardiovascular system.
